For a limited time, microNERD is offering the first month on all normal monthly plans for just $1.00.  This offer will end July 1st, 2008.

In the next month, microNERD will be unveiling all new VPS Plans (Virtual Private Server). In the past, microNERD has specialized in shared hosting, but we look to expand on these ideas and move forward. Keep your eyes peeled for our low cost VPS Plans coming soon!

We have fixed the issue with our invoices not automatically batching.  Unfortunately, all of you will now start to be charged your normal fees again (darn!).

As most of you know, Christmas this year has been a little stressful for our staff. We have been working around the clock to revise the website to match our new billing system and other features.

Starting December 21st, microNERD began its migration to a different data center. Our servers are now located in Dallas, TX at The Planet Data Center. For more information about our Data Center, click here. At the same time as the migration, we decided to take the opportunity to change our billing systems around. We were never happy with what we had previously used, and there were too many issues on the client side. We have now implemented the new billing system and are ready to move forward. Our goal is to have this revision completed by January 1st, 2008. We are on schedule to do so.

Some of you have asked us if your billing accounts would be affected. Here is a simple answer to that. All clients that previously paid with a credit card should not be affected in any way. If you used Paypal to previously pay your bill, it’s possible that we may need to have you “resubscribe” to our service to make sure your bill is paid on time each month. We will know more about this after January 1st. Rest assured, your account will not be affected until everything is sorted out.
